(that's the sound that came out of my mouth when Michelle pointed out the "species")

1 Orchard Oriole
Chattering away at the area between Lucky Hammock Proper, and the "Youth Camp" (I think I heard them singing camp songs yesterday...or was it marching songs...not sure)
Northern Waterthrush, Parula, and Prairie warbler were all fairly represented, as were Red-eyed Vireo, BG Gnatcatcher, and White-eyed Vireo. Several Downy Woodpeckers, Northern Flickers, Red-bellieds, and a Piliated rounded off the pecker sweep.

Also seen right around the hammock:
Pectoral Sandpiper (2)
Willet (1)
Least Sand. (15)
Lesser Yellowlegs (2)
Black Bellied Plover (20, most in BP)
Limpkin (6!)
Sand-hill Cranes (3)

and in the "Uppie" field:
7 Upland Sands. (check the "brown" tilled area adjacent, most were seen here yesterday!)
Killdeer MANY!
Black-bellied Plovers (again, many, and most in BP)

cheers

David
