Thanks for posting Robin! I came to do the same, but a bit too late. I visited the area on Saturday morning and saw 10 Uppies there. Just before I left, two of them took flight and called repeatedly, until they were joined by five others (the COOLEST shorebird call, next to Long-billed Curlew), then the seven headed to the east where I couldn't relocate them. Three remained in the field, and I assume the ones that left would return since it did look like the most "uppie"ish habitat around!
