Hi Fellow Birders-
Just wanted to share a few "bird moments" with you. I took a trip to Lady Lake ( Leesburg) this weekend. Saw about 8 sandhill cranes in what wetlands there are left surrounding the ever-increasing development going on.
The highlight of the weekend was the ( Carolina) wren family nesting in a lemon tree at my mother's house! I heard the ( I almost forgot what it sounded like)song of the wren and then saw mom and dad wren with about 3 fledglings!
I never thought I could be chased by a 4 inch bird!
