I live in Panama City Florida only 50 miles from the alabama state line. I noticed a swallow tail kite flying very low over my house. This same bird has been gliding around for 2 weeks now. I'm just curious what they eat. In a north american bird book it read that they often eat while flying. Makes me think that insects caught in mid air may be part of their diet???
