My husband and I were driving from Vero Beach across to Fort Meyers in February 2006. We were close to Lake Ochachobee. We just happened upon this bird sitting along the side of the road. We hurried to get a digital picture because the bird look as thought it was ready to take off. I'm not sure how to display the picture.
