Well, apparently Mr. and Mrs. got fed up with the babies. Last Sunday I saw the juvenile male hopping around the ground, now that looked strange. Sure enough he couldn't fly. (I blame Daddy) Took him to a friend's house down the street who has a courtyard, fed and watered him, intending to take him to Wildlife Care Center the next day. Terrible storm that night. Next day he could not be found. Saw one of the baby females Monday. The father landed near her all puffed up and nasty. She left in a hurry. Haven't seen either of the two remaining babies since. I read where the parents will chase away the babies. Perhaps Mr. and Mrs. are going to nest again because apparently they can raise 3 broods here in the south. Now that would be something.
