Since my last posting on 8/26 my schedule has allowed me to get out on most mornings to spend a couple of hours of birding at nearby parks. There have been migrants present at every location on every day, here are the cumulative totals from 7/26 to 8/6 along with the dates I first saw them this fall.

Red-eyed Vireo - 18 (7/27)
Prairie Warbler - 8 (7/29)
American Redstart - 6 (7/25)
Northern Parula - 4 (7/26)
Yellow-throated Warbler - 1 (7/26)
Louisiana Waterthrush - 1 (8/5)
Chimney Swift - 9 (7/28)
Barn Swallow - 4

Blue-gray Gnatcatchers have been present most everywhere but I have not been including it in my migration records.

Another sighting that may be interesting was a group of about twelve juvenile Roseate Spoonbills on 8/3 in Birch State Park near the north end of the habitat restoration area. There was also a Florida Atala butterfly just outside the beach entrance to the park.
