What someone needs to do is to convince the people at Hialeah Racetrack to allow the banding of some of the young birds there for a few years. Sandy Sprunt and I tried a couple of times(not recently), but we failed.
I am curious about the statement concerning flamingos nesting in south Florida. All of the reports I have seen have said that no such reports have been authenticated.
