This afternoon there were 8 White-rumped Sandpipers at Cutler Wetlands. This site is located in south Dade in the Cutler Ridge area. Take the Turnpike to SW 216th street and go east. Turn right on Old Cutler Road and left onto 224 St. The wetlands will be on your right on 224 St. after passing the apartment complex. You can park on a small gravel area on the side of the road where somebody dumped a mattress. The White-rumps were directly south of this spot.
