Earlier this week I saw 3 pure white doves also - 2 of them flying together as if paired off. They were heavy bodied similar to Rock Doves and not slim like the white doves typically used in magic shows. But they seemed to have larger heads than Rock Doves. So although they were structurally similar to Rock Doves, I had a feeling they were different, perhaps escaped from a pigeon breeder. The pair flew over head close enough to give me the impression that they might well have had pale beaks and pink eyes (i.e., albinos). Looking on the internet I think they could have been "white homing pigeons". Other thoughts?
