A group of Miami-Dade and Broward county birders just called me to
report a probable Tropical Kingbird. A tape was used to try and get the
bird to vocalize without luck.
Directions:
>From Belle Glade take 880 east about 7 miles to Brown's Farm road,
(827). Go south on Brown's Farm road about 5 miles to Miami Sod Farm.
Turn right here and park, look on the wires and in a Norfolk Island
Pine, these look like a tall Christmas tree. The bird was on the wires
and in the Norfolk Island Pine, there are some farm buildings located
here.
