I have been working in Everglades National Park lately and during a bike ride yesterday(05/11/06) I heard the bird calling over the campground in Long Pine Key. It was a male that called constantly while I was there from 7:30pm to 8:10pm. It was mainly flying along the eastern edge of the quary lake in the campground and did not perch the entire time. It "Boomed" twice while I was watching it. There were also many Common Nighthawks the sky as well.
