At 11:20 AM today Chadda & I got great looks at a male Connecticut
Warbler. It was under the 1st Brazilian Pepper on the left when
entering the "tunnel" into the under brush on the south side of "the
field." For those not familiar with SRP, the field is west of the stop
sign just after the toll booth.
There were thunder storms in Boca early this morning which brought in
more birds than we have seen in a week. Here is our warbler list:
Am. Redstart - 20
Blackpoll - 5
Black-throated Blue - 3
Cape May - 1
Connon Yellow-throat -23
Connecticut Warbler - 1
N. Parula - 5
N. Waterthrush - 2
Ovenbird - 4

Also:
Yellow-billed Cuckoo - 2
Downy WP - 2
Yellow-crowned Night Heron - 4
a fleeting look at either a Red-eyed or Whiskered Vireo
