I went with Mike Resch from Massachusetts. He was here of a convention and a
couple of days birding. We went to Key Largo looking for the Mangrove Cuckoo and
Yellow Warbler. Mangrove Cuckoo, Yes! Larry M showed up but didn't see the same
bird but found another pair of birds after we left. Yellow Warbler was only
heard in the distance across the canal at Card Sound Toll Booth.

We then went to ENP for a few minute and didn't see much except for my friend
Roy and about 50+ Swallow-tailed Kites on Research Rd. What a sight... A few
were close enough for really good looks and the rest were flying over and around
the mound to the south. Mike thought maybe the fires in the north part of the
glades may have something to do with that many being together in one place.

We then went to Cutler Wetland for a few minutes and saw:

White-rump Sandpiper

Solitary Sandpiper

Semi Palmated Sandpiper

Least Sandpiper

Semi Palmated Plover

Stilt Sandpiper

Spotted Sandpiper

Ruddy Turnstone

Long-billed Dowitcher

Greater Yellow Legs

Lesser Yellow Legs

Killdeer

Black-necked Stilt

Least Tern

Laughing Gulls

Cattle Egret

Great Egret

Blue Heron

There was more stuff in the back, but I had to go.
