I hope that this idea abd posting didn't run contrary to the intent and participation of the chat-folks on this board. I really enjoyed the commentary and the "thought process" being used.
For techies: this is certifiably the best scan available from people very good at this. Because of the complications of holding the binoculars to the camera I only got one shot....like many things in life.
This is the oldest picture I have in inventory. Most everything else moved to color and eventually digital. HOWEVER.....
If it pleases you, I do have other pictures, closer better, Nikon quality, etc., that beg for confirmation of identification. The thought occurs to me, that posting occasionally such pictures will reveal the expertise available to help ident birds, and also give the lurkers on the page the benefit of how the field process works.
In that vein, can I safely say that this posting today is a Palm Warbler? (taken at Wakodahatchee April 2002)
