I saw some rather interesting behavior form a toucan last night. I was at a private collection and I was hand feeding one bird of a pair and the other bird was preening itself after a bath. It has what it appeared to be a short peice of quill in it's bill that it was using as sort of a comb to help it groom it's feathers. I had never seen a bird do this before. Is this unusual behavior?
Any comments.
Roger
