Tragically, a first spring male summer tanager just died moments ago crashing into my office window. He is a gourgeous specimen of red, green and yellow. I understand there are some among you who collect these type of specimens. If anyone is interested in this beautiful bird please contact me with information on how to preserve the bird and send it to you. I am located in Palm Beach Gardens. What a tragedy.
