I have them in Biscayne Gardens (North Miami) since I moved there in 2002. Usually have up to 15+ in December. This time of year I have only seen 4 at my feeder and that was a week ago.
Usually have 75+ parakeets (mostly white-eyed) but not now, must be breeding. There are so many and they are so loud, I considered taking the feeder down. (not)
