Six birders joined me this morning for the bird walk at these two small North Miami parks. We had nine warbler species and a few other surprises. We all headed over to the neighboring Arch Creek Park on the opposite side of the railroad tracks.
White-crowned Pigeon
Pileated Woodpecker
Black-whiskered Vireo
Gray Catbird
Northern Parula
Cape May Warbler
Black-throated Blue Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Northern Waterthrush
Common Yellowthroat
Indigo Bunting
Painted Bunting
Back in Miami Shores, while playing soccer, I found a couple birds but was not paying too much attention. I had plenty of the same, but new "day birds" included:
Black Skimmer
White-winged Prakeet
Yellow-chevroned Parakeet
Palm Warbler
Spot-breasted Oriole
