Yesterday (7/25) I saw an American Redstart at Secret Woods County Park and today (7/26) at the north end of Pine Island Ridge I saw a small flock of migrants consisting of two Black-and-White and one Yellow-Throated Warblers along with a Northern Parula and a few of Blue-Gray Gnatcatchers. Other interesting area sightings were Spot-Breasted Orioles during the first half of July west of the 6900 block of Orange Drive, the farthest west that I've seen them in Broward County in a very long time. A brief afternoon trip down to Flamingo on 7/9 with little time for birding did turn up a Cave Swallow among 100+ Barn Swallows.
