I'm going to be fairly busy the rest of the week so I decided to take a
chance at Cape Florida this morning. I ran into Robin Diaz and walked with her
as she did a bird survey. I wouldn't say there was a huge fall out, but
there were many more birds than were there during the TAS walk a week ago. Robin
has a more accurate count of what was seen this morning, below is from my
memory. : )
Birds of interest:
Red-Start 1
Prairies 30+
Worm-eating 5-6
Yellow Throat 10
Black & White 1
Cape May 1
Magnolia 1
Palm 10
BT Blue 4-5
Indigo Bunting 10-12
Painted Bunting 2
Black Whiskered Vireo 1
Blue Headed Vireo
Yellow Billed Cuckoo
Common Ground Dove 10-12
Mourning Dove 10-12
Merlin 3
Red Start - poor photo - my camera need servicing.
Life isn't just good, it's lots of fun to!
