A couple months ago the blue and gold macaws put on a very entertaining display. A group of 5 was seen feeding on immature coconuts by the law school parking lot. They were seen popping the tops off of the small coconuts and then tilting their heads back with the coconuts in their beaks as if they were swilling beer! They then discarded the empty "cans" almost dropping them on a few unsuspecting passer-bys who we tried to warn but were oblivious to the raucous macaws.
Is it possible that this group of five is a couple and their three offspring?
