I went to AD Barnes this morning in search of Spring Migration. I only saw a
very little evidence that it is occurring for Miami-Dade County. I saw one small
flock of warblers that appeared to be moving together. It was a mix of Prairies,
Palms and Yellow Rump Warblers. This flock had about 20-30 birds in it and was
hanging out at the circle drive near the office trailer. In the hammock it was
fairly quiet. I saw a few individual birds, a Black and White, a Prairie, a
Worm-eating and I heard a Water-thrush but couldn't locate it visually.

The park was very heavily populated today by the human species and the wind
was blowing making it difficult to see or hear much of anything. I think they
were having Spring Camp for the kids.
