Here are some of the birds seen on a recent Dry Tortugas Tour.

Brown Booby
Northern Gannet
Masked Booby
Sooty Tern
Brown Noddy
Black Noddy has been present but I did not see it.
Pomarine Jaeger (most likely)
Short-eared Owl (West Indies race)
Gray Kingbird
Cliff Swallow
Cave Swallow
Cliff Swallow

Northern Parula
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler

The Sooty Terns are doing excellent as well as the Brown Noodies despite the hurricanes from this summer. The Magnificent Frigatebirds are doing really well too! For the first time ever, there are Sooty Terns nesting on Garden Key where Fort Jefferson is located. I even saw Brown Noddies on Garden Key in some Green Buttonwood trees which I have never seen before! There was a fairly large flock of warblers, most were Palm and Yellow-rumped Warblers with Prairies and Parulas mixed in.

I will be starting my first tour that leaves this Monday morning that I will be giving a *HUGE* discount for any one that is interested. If you have never been to the Dry Tortugas this is the best oportunity that you will ever have!! There is a cold front that will be coming in on Sunday or Monday, I predict a fall out of birds!! This trip is from April 9-10, please contact me below:
