This morning in Southern Glades Wildlife and Environmental Area ("Annex"), the Shiny Cowbird continues to be seen. He hangs out with a courting pair of Brown-headed Cowbirds; he also displays to the female but she backs him off every once in a while. If the happy couple head for the trees, the Shiny remains about a minute, then finds them. It was fun to watch but I do feel sorry for this dude. They were in general area of "Bump Ahead" sign.
Farther north in the Annex, a Yellow-breasted Chat and Least Flycatcher were across the canal. Lincoln's Sparrow was on the west side of the road. There were lots of Painted and Indigo Buntings and increase in White-crowned Pigeons.
