Today at Wakodahatchee Wetlands, Mickey Wheeler and I saw a dozen Mottled Ducks plus 4 ducklings; Purple Gallinules and many youth; Common Moorhens with about 100 young of all ages; numerous Least Bitterns; and a pair of adult Black-bellied Whistling Ducks.
Wakodahatchee is located on the east side of Jog Road north of Atlantic Avenue. Delray Beach is the Turnpike exit -- then head east on Atlantic and north on Jog.
