It is the Silver Argiope, one of the most beautiful spiders in south Florida. We saw a
Yellow and Black Argiope(also known as the Garden Spider) at Bill Sadowski Park last Saturday, and I
have seen the Banded Argiope there some years ago.
The X pattern in the web is distinctive to the Silver Argiope. The others have different patterns.
