A quick twenty-five minute walk around the eastern-most trail this afternoon at Enchanted Forest/Elaine Gordon Park provided the following:
Belted Kingfisher
Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Northern Parula
Cape May Warbler- nice male
Yellow-rumped Warbler
Yellow-throated Warbler
Prairie Warbler
Palm Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
Louisiana Waterthrush- three, perhaps four
Earlier at my house this morning, I watched a Cattle Egret feeding on Halloween Pennant Dragonflies for about five minutes. It's catch-miss ratio was 9:5. Plus he grabbed a couple smaller insects. No wonder they are so successfull.
