Bronzed Cowbirds, WC Pigeons

Hi, I'm back in CA, was visiting relatives in Naples. While in Kendall looking for bulbuls, I saw 2 Bronzed Cowbirds (a male and a female) visiting a small mimosa tree. Pranty's new edition says they are increasing, but thought I would mention it anyway. Surprising to me were two White-crowned Pigeons on the same block. Spring migrant overshoots, perhaps? SW 85th St west of 87th Ct., March 20. Best Florida experience: 26 Gopher Tortoises out drinking in the rain on the 23rd at Delnor Wiggins Park in Naples. Dave
