It was at 7:05 am, and I was going about 50-55mph, but I am almost certain about the i.d. I had enough time to see a completely white head and a dark body. Liz - Yes, you did see a magnificent adult bald eagle perched on a snag at Bear Cut Beach. The bird was sighted again on 7/12/02 @ 9:45am. We have posted the sighting at the Crandon Visitor and Nature Center.
