About 10 birders came out to Barnes for a warm (but not unbearable) walk this morning. Although birding was fairly slow, we did end up with 10 species of warblers on the morning list before wrapping up at just after 10 o'clock. Thanks to everyone for coming out!

The list (from my notes):

Great Blue Heron 1
White Ibis 2
Common Gallinule 1
Eurasian Collared-Dove 7
Red-bellied Woodpecker 1
large parakeet sp. (former Aratinga sp.) X (heard, but not seen)
Blue Jay 5
Fish Crow 3
Purple Martin 1
Gray Catbird 1
Northern Mockingbird 6
European Starling 2
Ovenbird 1
Northern Waterthrush 1
Black-and-white Warbler 4
Common Yellowthroat 2
American Redstart 1
Cape May Warbler 1
Northern Parula 1
Blackpoll Warbler 2
Black-throated Blue Warbler 4
Prairie Warbler 1
Northern Cardinal 8
Boat-tailed Grackle 2
House Sparrow 2
