Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP was active today with a solid representation of expected spring migrants for this date. I didn't survey the central part of the park so there were probably additional species.
In addition to 13 warbler species, two nice surprises were a male Scarlet Tanger and a Blue-gray Gnatcatcher. It was a treat to hear the following warblers sing: Northern Waterthrush, Northern Parula, Cape May, Common Yellowthroat, Worm-eating, American Redstart, Ovenbird, Black-throated Blue, Black-and-white and Blackpoll.
