Sorry for a late report, but.... This information may perhaps be helpful for shorebird migration (or not, because some of these may winter there?)

I went to the site of the Great Stinting of 2014, scanning the beach for the stint, but mainly really to see what shorebirds might be coming back up through. Not really a whole lot compared to july, though this may be a time of day or week function, as there were people walking dogs on the beach a lot (whole spot is pretty scurvy). The area behind the beach in the military base was completely devoid of birds.

Observed:

White Ibis: 5, all in breeding color

Osprey: 1

DC Cormorants:3 (No neotropical noted, or suspected)

Spotted Sandpipers: 8
Least Sandpipers: likely about 100. There were several large flocks which kept bolting. I did my best to count and estimate.
Willets: 5
Black Bellied Plovers: 10

Cardinal: 2 m+f
Catbird: 1
