The PP eagles did not breed this year. The original female of the pair, which we have followed since 2007 disappeared in late October 2014. The male presented a new 4-year old female on December 7, 2015. Although she has molted ito nearly full 5th year plumage and they copulated several times she seems to lack the brooding instinct. It is highly unlikely that they will breed this year but the pair is still being seen in and around the nest.
