Twenty-five of us covered Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP this morning looking for evidence of spring migration. Birding may have been slow but conversations were lively and covered all aspects of Nature. Thanks to Matt for his great herp information and to Liz for her butterfly experience. Her keen eye discovered an uncommon Martial Scrub-Hairstreak in the Bay Cedar plants.

We tallied 29 species with 8 warbler species (9 and 10 were seen before the walk started.) Other highlights were: 2 White-crowned Pigeons, a Merlin with a purpose and a Spotted Sandpiper with spots.

Many thanks to all who made the TAS walk a part of their day. It was super to have younger birders Elena, Nico and Jose participate.
