Welcome to South Florida, Gavin! From general information on the quail-dove, it seems to be seen many times on the Golden Orb Trail as it dips down toward the mangroves. This area will be noticeable. However, the bird has been seen at other places along the trail and was once seen flying along the parking lot. When you arrive at the park, ask a ranger for the most current information.

The other birds you seek are active and are currently being seen. For the best information, explore the available data in eBird. You can explore a region or do a species search, refining your search by expanding the map. eBird lists are available to gather more details. The link is below. It's also a great time to become an eBird user. Just go to the home page to get started.

This Bird Board is filled with excellent information so peruse the tabs at the top of the page for TAS walks, information on specialty birds and local birding locations. Be sure to check Brian's weekly Rare Bird Report. Best of luck!
