I'm not spreading gloom. Look at posts by others who are acknowlidging few migrants. It's the reality of spring migration in South Florida. Unless the weather conditions are absolutely right (for birders) the birds just keep flying over us. Everyone that has birded here for any number of years knows that we have a much better fall migration than spring. I don't have to spread gloom; the gloom is out there in the lack of significant numbers of migrants. While you guys were scraping up 7 species of warblers, some in LA had 19. Migration is happening, just not for us. Call me next time you see 20 warbler species in one day in spring.
