The April monthly bird walk at Tall Cypress Natural Area in Coral Springs is scheduled for this Sunday, Apr. 12 beginning at 7:30 am.

As some of you saw in my previous post, the young Great Horned owlet has fledged and is being seen regularly, usually in the company of mom. Lots of randy woodpecker activity. Who knows, as I'm in the middle of spring re-potting,I may even have a few orchids to give away.
