It has been a quiet beginning to April here at the park but there are a few birds moving around. Blue-winged Teals have been seen heading north along Biscayne Bay as well as Black-necked Stilts, Spotted Sandpipers and Lesser Yellowlegs. After yesterdays noon shower I came across a gorgeous Cape May Warbler in a Black Olive down the street while heading to Subway. Things should start shaping up for the monthly bird walk this weekend (Saturday, April 11). I still need Swainson's Warbler for my park list!
