Spent Saturday (4/4/2015) morning birding Hugh Taylor Birch SP.
Bird activity was quite slow.
Notable sightings included a Swainson's warbler skulking in the thickets.
A perching merlin was visible being dive-bombed by a red-bellied woodpecker.
Heard the beautiful song of the male Prairie Warbler.
Otherwise, there was very little bird activity overall.
Fortunately we found some geocaches to keep us entertained!
