I was on the afternoon STA-2 trip on March 28 and can confirm that there were no Flamingos seen then (or on the morning trip either).
The previous two days dropped heavy rain in the area and the water levels in the impoundment where the Flamingos had been seen were substantially higher than normal which may indicate that the birds had searched out better feeding grounds.
We're all hoping that they will return after the water levels drop.
