Hi! My name is Alan Winslow and I'm the April AIRIE Artist in Residence at the Everglades National Park. I'm a fine art photographer from New York, specializing in portrait work. For my residency I'll be making (hopefully hundreds of) portraits of birders and the birds they are seeking. If you'd like to participate in the project, I'd love to hear from you! I'd meet you at your favorite birding spot whenever you like to go, and we'd take your portrait there. I am new to the art of birding myself, so I also welcome any wisdom you can share!
