There were subtle signs of migration this morning in Bill Baggs Cape Florida SP. Prairie Warblers are arriving (13), another mini-wave of Northern Parulas (14), American Redstart, Black-and-white Warblers, Yellow-throated Warbler, 2 Brown Thrashers (seen here only during migration), an elegant flock of 7 Great Blue Herons flying north and a high count of 65 Gray Catbirds. The first gnatcatchers since March 8 are definite migrants.
