: Is it us, or is there a bunting invasion all over Miami - more than moswt years? Our yard is chock-full of indigos and painteds. Painteds! TWO MALES today! Life IS good. They seem to especially like our neighbor's mulberry tree, then fly to our mister in the oak trees (it's a big hit with the black & white warblers and red-bellieds too). Make us want to plant a zillion mulberry trees (hey, at least our cats are indoor cats, it'll be safer for them, and we can zoom in closer - win-win!).

: Also, first Eurasian collared dove nest of the year. Mocker can't be far behind.

I have had a number of Painted Buntings since November. The most that I have had at the feeder at any one time was eleven (11). Mostley females although I have had as many as three males at one time.
