This bird is at the intersection of Richmond and 237th Ave.
I parked on the lawn in front of the building at 16800, and the bird was calling as I exited my vehicle, at around 9:00am. The calls were coming from immediately south of the lone gumbo limbo on the lawn, in a patch of willow and schinus.
The bird was very vocal for about 1 minute, although numerous cardinals, vireos, and catbirds vocalizing prevented a useful recording. The bird was silent and unseen for the next 25 minutes, at which time I left for a bike ride.
Returning to my vehicle around 11am, the bird was prominently perched on the gumbo limbo and called twice before flying down into the brush. The bird was silent for the next 30 minutes, then vocalized for about 1 minute, at which point I made the recording.
Thanks for the ID assistance,.
