I found one of the Key West Quail-Doves this afternoon at 3:45 and was able to get a couple on the bird briefly,before it walked quickly back away from us and disappeared.One was also seen before I arrived at 7 and 8:45. All birds were seen at the back end of the trail from the Gumbo Limbo trees to down the hill on the right, where the mangroves are on the left. I found the Grassquit in 3 minutes yesterday but was unable to find the Bannaquit and it apparently was not seen all day.
