After dropping a friend off at Ft. Lauderdale Airport early this morning, I swung by this bustling park just off I-95 in Broward. This park gets very busy, but the high number of passerines didn't seem to mind the throngs of joggers, cyclists, and speed walkers that like to have very loud speaker phone conversations.
The main parking lot on the west side of the road hosts a number of Blue-crowned Parakeets as the morning moves along.

Black-throated Blue Warbler 2 One male and one female. Male with white belly, black throat, "yale blue" back and cap. Female drab overall with faint, curving white supercilium and white just below the eye. Both had white patches at base of primaries.
