Got the opportunity to head north and bird HTBSP this morning from 8am-1pm. Even though diversity was relatively low, species numbers were impressive. In particular the Northern Parulas are taking over. I had 21 males (out of 26 birds) and several were singing. I also had a single Prairie Warbler singing from the mangroves.
