Both birds were seen at the Annex this morning in the area previously described. The vireo was quite skulky. Flycatcher was silent, but popped up nicely (and briefly) on west side bushes before flying across pond. Also in the area were several Painted Buntings, House Wren.
Bryant Roberts also advised he had Lincoln's Sparrow and Yellow-breasted Chat at Lucky Hammock.
No sign of Yellow-headed Blackbird on 217th, but there were few icterids of any sort around. That's strike 2 for morning -- are afternoons better?
