I appreciate that this is not a bird sighting but hope that you'll forgive me. I would just like to extend a big English thank you to all of the people who do post genuine sightings on these pages.
Reading about the current sightings in southern Florida brighten many a dull lunch time here in the UK. My Florida birding is limited to a reasonable number of days out, granted by a very tolerent family, in between theme park days "... small world after all!" - sorry that just sort of slipped out.
I cannot wait until I get another chance to have some excellent days birding in Florida and meeting some more of the very friendly folk down there. In the meantime I'll just have to read your reports and be very jealous.
Again, many thanks for brightening up an English birder's lunch times.
